{"id":491,"date":"2021-12-20T12:51:22","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T11:51:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kazandjian.ch\/?post_type=treatment&#038;p=491"},"modified":"2022-09-12T11:04:08","modified_gmt":"2022-09-12T09:04:08","slug":"consultation-process","status":"publish","type":"treatment","link":"https:\/\/kazandjian.ch\/en\/traitements\/consultation-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Consultation Process"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Step 1<\/u>&nbsp;: First appointment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the first appointment, we will discuss the need and the appropriate time to start an orthodontic treatment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Visual dental exam<\/li><li>General review of dental alignment, esthetic considerations and patient expectations<\/li><li>Various orthodontic options (including, but not limited to traditional fixed braces, removable appliances, combination braces with subsequent surgical options)<\/li><li>Treatment time (mini treatment options, phase 1 for mixed dentition and\/or phase 2 for permanent dentition)<\/li><li>Supplementary documentation required to confirm and establish the orthodontic diagnosis<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Step 2<\/u>&nbsp;: <\/strong><strong>Documentation records<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the second appointment, documentation records are taken in order to assess areas that were not evident during the initial visual exam.&nbsp; Key factors include the maxillary\/mandibular skeletal relation, periodontal situation, dental eruption status and overall root health. All of which provide necessary information to diagnose the case in order to propose a proper orthodontic treatment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Digital impressions (study models)<\/li><li>Photographs (facial and dental)<\/li><li>Radiographs (panoramic and cephalometric)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Step 3<\/u>&nbsp;: <\/strong><strong><\/strong><strong>Treatment plan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At the third appointment, a treatment plan is presented.&nbsp;
